Yamaha, a pioneer in the e-bike industry, recently announced two new models that are set to redefine the e-MTB experience: the YDX-MORO 07 and YDX-MORO 05. These bikes come equipped with Yamaha’s most advanced and compact PW-X3 motor, pushing the boundaries of power and efficiency in electric mountain biking. The PW-X3, with a torque of 85Nm and power ranging from 250W to 500W, integrates seamlessly with the rider’s movements, offering a “Pure Ride” experience, as Yamaha puts it.
Rob Trester, Manager of Yamaha’s Smart Power Vehicle Division, emphasizes Yamaha’s dedication to innovation in e-bike technology, a field they’ve been leading for nearly 30 years. With the new YDX-MORO models, Yamaha aims to cater to the evolving needs of modern e-MTB riders.
These models aren’t just about power; they’re about smart integration too. The Yamaha Interface X control unit, for instance, enhances rider engagement with its easy-to-read indicators and Bluetooth™ connectivity. Plus, the range of assist modes like ECO, Standard, High, MTB, and others adjust intuitively to different riding conditions.
