A Dutch engineering student and inventor Gijs Schalkx has modified his Honda GX160 motorbike to run on methane.
The fuel is usually biogas or methane that can be collected from nearby ponds or roadside ditches.
Schalkx calls a biogas collecting system a plompstation. It takes approximately 8 hours to fill up the fuel container.
A Slootmotor uses alternate and clean energy that is abundantly present in our environment.
The inventor has given a detailed sketch of the Slootmotor's engineering, showcasing how technology can create something closer to the environment.
