The concept of Mission X is an electric Hyper Car design study that has not yet been confirmed for production by Porsche.

Porsche is aiming to have an all-electric drivetrain if the Mission X does go into production.

A feature of the Mission X is its upward-opening doors, reminiscent of the Porsche 917 race car from the late 1960s and early 1970s.

The Mission X has a light-weight aluminum dome and carbon-fiber exoskeleton, paying homage to the Porsche 963 used in endurance races like the "24 hours of Daytona".

The design of the Mission X is to have a power-to-weight ratio of 1 bhp per kilogram, surpassing the downforce of the 911 GT3 RS.

The expectation is that the concept car will have a charging speed close to twice that of the Porsche Taycan Turbo S.
