Missing Arkansas Man Found Alive Walking on Texas Beach After Nearly 1.5 Years

Harley McCourt had been missing since October 2021 and was finally found alive walking on a beach in Texas.

McCourt's family shared his missing report on Oct. 2, 2021, when they realized he was missing with his cellphone or wallet left behind.

McCourt was struggling to manage his depression and paranoia about COVID-19 before he went missing.

The family looked out for him tirelessly and even offered a $10,000 reward for any relevant information about him.

On March 11, 2023, officials spotted McCourt on the side of the road in Galveston, Texas.

Authorities let McCourt go back then as he hadn't committed any crimes, but thankfully they found his backpack with his family's contact information.

McCourt's family immediately drove to Galveston to reunite with him after receiving this news.

McCourt's family finally found him while he was walking by the beach, and he is currently receiving mental health treatment.
