Lotus Type 134 Entry-Level Electric SUV will take on Porsche and BMW
Lotus is actively working on developing a third electric vehicle to compete with models like the Porsche Macan and BMW iX3.
The new model, codenamed 134, will serve as the entry-level vehicle in Lotus’s revamped lineup.
The entry-level Lotus EV will be smaller than the Eletre SUV, with a length of less than 16.4 feet (5 meters).
Compared to the Eletre, the new Lotus SUV is expected to have a smaller battery pack and less powerful electric motors.
Lotus aims for the Type 134 to account for half of its annual sales by 2028, translating to approximately 75,000 units.

Lotus's confidence in the handling and performance of their vehicles sets them apart from the competition in the electric SUV segment.
