The music video, titled 'Lifetimes,' was filmed in Ibiza and Formentera, featuring scenes in various locations, including the protected dune system of s'Espalmador.
S'Espalmador is part of the Ses Salines Natural Park of Ibiza and Formentera, a highly valuable ecological area.
The production crew reportedly filmed in a restricted area marked off with poles and ropes, where entry is prohibited.
The Ministry confirmed that preliminary proceedings have begun but did not specify if an environmental crime is being investigated or if penalties will be imposed.
The production company did not have authorization to film in the natural area and had not requested it.
The dunes of s'Espalmador, along with the beach of Ses Illetes in Formentera, are considered the best-preserved dune system in the Balearics.
S'Espalmador is a private islet, approximately 2.9 kilometers long and 800 meters wide, included in the natural park since 1980.
Will Smith also worked in Ibiza, recording his latest song in a luxury hotel's studio and sharing a reel on Instagram titled 'Ibiza sunset vibes.
