Researchers from IIT Bombay discover soil cleansing bacteria that convert harmful soil chemicals to plant food.

Cleansing the chemicals, producing plant growth boosters and ultimately eliminating the fungi that spoils the work is the bacteria's simple mechanism.

The research showed how the crops grew 45-50% better after the farmers used this bacteria mix on crops which produce regular food.

The natural occurrence of the bacteria makes soil cleansing processes more feasible since the traditional ones are expensive and inefficient.

Lytic enzymes and HCN produced by this bacteria destroy the pathogenic fungi which affects 10-23% of crops every year.

Professor Phale mentions the bio-formulations of these bacterias will be soon available to farmers after performing all the required tests.
