Research cameras spotted a Malayan tapir on Pulau Ubin island while tracking mousedeer movements near Singapore mainland.

The wild tapir showed up on camera at 8:30 p.m. on May 27, 2024, far from its usual homes in Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, and Myanmar.
