Dodge’s Exciting Fratzonic Sound Introduces Muscle Car Exhaust to EVs
About six months ago Dodge unveiled its latest Charger Daytona Banshee concept which as per Dodge is a EV with muscle.
The Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust system especially designed to maintain the original sound of Dodge cars was showcased during its live debut.
The engine sound of Dodge cars is very popular and has become a cultural phenomenon presented across many films and videos.
However, the first noise wasn't quite right there because it was too electric and sounded too less like the motor.
Dodge has since reworked on the sound mix and presented a new Fratzonic sound during the Chicago Auto Show's Concept & Technology garage.
This time Dodge brought the sound much closer to their original engine sound which is much better with more low-end and more rumble.
Potential buyers now have an idea of what to expect once the company's all-electric muscle cars go on sale in 2024.
The Fratzonic exhaust is not just a speaker system, but it is something similar to a sound organ using air through tuned chambers to produce noise.
One will be expecting more news and improvements to the Fratzonic sound system before the EV muscle cars hit the market in 2024.
