One of the best-kept secrets of the park is its event calendar, which often misses the required attention by visitors.

Since the pandemic, the park has initiated a lineup of free events hosted by rangers, professors, volcanologists, and cultural ambassadors which will occur each month.

Hawaii with its two seasons, summer and winter, makes it less difficult to predict its weather.

Visitors can go for free ranger walks near the summit area of the park and get to understand the ever-evolving volcano.

The Kahuku Unit, a lesser-known part of the park, presents a different take on the volcanic landscape, with rolling hills of pasture land as well as sunken cinder cones.

Many guided hikes are organized on weekends during March to explore this region.

With its ever-changing terrain, visitors will everytime find newer and thrilling experiences in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.
