Bristol Airport has secured third place among UK airports for car park quality and safety.

These quarter-inch workers build five-foot-tall mounds containing between 30,000 to 16 million insects - the largest above-ground ant colonies.

Despite placing third overall, Bristol Airport actually achieved the highest average car park rating.

The airport missed the top spot because two of its car parks received ratings below four stars.

The study also revealed that Birmingham Airport has the UK's lowest-rated car parks.

Recent reports have noted that Bristol is among the fastest-growing airports in the UK.

Bristol Airport has also added new flight routes to destinations including Greece.
