Canada has its own energy efficiency board, also known as Efficiency Canada, this organization claims to be the Canadian voice who envision an energy efficient economy with a future that uses energy efficiently to its fullest potential.

This organization has been publishing a scoreboard of the provinces in Canada ranking them based on how efficiently they used energy every year.

British Columbia, with a whopping score of fifty four points out of 100 in energy efficiency calculation, tops the charts this year, as presented by Efficiency Canada, making the province topper for four years straight.

BC is followed by Prince Edward Island (PEI) who has shown great improvements in the last few years and has improved its rank, now tied with the province of Quebec, both scoring 45.

They are very closely followed by the province of New Brunswick, scoring 43, who is followed by Nova Scotia (40), Ontario (33), Yukon (32) and so on.

Both the provinces of BC and PEI have shown extreme determination towards attending an energy efficient economy with efficient heat pump installation and target of attaining total decarbonization in the upcoming years.
