AKC Adds Danish-Swedish Farmdog as 202nd Breed

In January 2024, the AKC approved the Danish-Swedish Farmdog as the 202nd breed.

This breed was developed on farms in Sweden and Denmark to help farmers and amuse kids.

Their numbers declined as a result of industrialization, but they were protected by kennel organizations in Sweden and Denmark.
