The exterior of the ID.X Performance boasts numerous sporty features, including carbon-made front splitters and rear diffusers. Engineers have innovatively increased the toe by 80 millimetres, enhancing its dynamic stance. The vehicle’s sports suspension, lowered by 60 millimetres with stiff springs, promises agile handling. Red accents inside the vehicle, found on the steering wheel and doors, emphasize its sporty characteristics. The ID.X Performance features a dual-motor drive, combining a permanently excited synchronous motor on the rear axle with an additional asynchronous motor on the front. This setup is perfect for short-term power boosts and ensures minimal drag losses. The Vehicle Dynamics Manager controls the drive torque and also manages the rear axle differential lock. Users can interact with the system through a 17-centimetre screen in the centre console. The drive battery powers the dual-motor drive, allowing for high continuous power output and quick charging capabilities. This battery boasts a charging capacity of up to 200 kW.
