He took the second spot in the Men’s Singles SL-4 category at the Semi-final. Suhas is currently world no. 2 in men’s singles in SL-4 category.

He became National Champion after winning Gold Medal in Men’s Singles category at 2nd National Para Badminton Championships held at Varanasi in March 2018, in addition to this he is also an IAS officer. He became the first-ever IAS officer to not only participate but also win a medal at the Tokyo Paralympics.
