Gordon Moore, semiconductor giant Intel’s co-founder and pioneer in the rise of computer chips, died on March 24 at the age of 94. Silicon Valley has lost one of its earliest leaders and visionaries and will be in mourning over the passing of Gordon Moore. The Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation reported that he passed peacefully surrounded by family at his home in Hawaii.
