Milka Chocolate Bars Recalled in Canada Over Undeclared Hazelnuts

A major chocolate recall has hit Canadian stores after hazelnuts were found undeclared in Milka brand Bubbly Alpine Milk “Chocolat” bars. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) issued the recall on January 14, 2025, following a consumer complaint that resulted in one reported allergic reaction. The 90-gram chocolate bars, with a best-before date of April 25, 2025, were distributed across seven provinces: Alberta, British Columbia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, and Quebec.
