The Porsche eBike Cross Performance and eBike Cross Performance EXC are two new high-end electric mountain bikes released by Porsche. They are a joint venture between Porsche and e-bike brand Rotwild, not built by Fazua or Greyp.

The eBike Cross Performance and eBike Cross Performance EXC are positioned as top-tier e-MTBs in terms of price and features. They continue Porsche’s expansion into the e-bike market following their previous acquisition of Fazua and Greyp. The design of the e-bikes takes inspiration from the sleek roofline of the Porsche Taycan, featuring a sloping boneline. The frame, wheels, and cockpit are all made from carbon fiber.

Equipped with a Shimano EP-801 mid-drive motor and Fox Factory suspension, the eBike Cross Performance offers exceptional performance. It features a 630Wh battery for maximum trail performance and is expected to have a 12-speed Shimano rear derailleur for optimal gear ratio and pedaling cadence. The bike also incorporates a high-end 12-speed Shimano drivetrain with AutoShift functionality and Free Shift technology that allows gear changes without pedaling.

The eBike Cross Performance features Fox 34 Float Factory suspension at the front and a Fox Float DPS Factory shock at the rear, offering 120mm and 100mm of travel respectively. It rolls on Crankbrothers Synthesis Enduro Carbon wheels and is equipped with Magura MT7 brakes. The standard Cross Performance model is priced at $14,250 USD. The Cross Performance EXC model, which offers special color options, carries a price tag of $15,350 USD.

Both e-bikes offer two riding profiles and various modes, including Eco, Trail, Boost, and Fine Tune.
