Both models also come with a 59kWh battery option. The charging infrastructure requirements are addressed with 175 kW DC fast charging capability, taking the battery from 20% to 80% in 20 minutes.

“Our electric origin SUVs, BE 6e and XEV 9e are about Unlimit Love that will inspire our customers to live a life without limits, filled with experiences that will make them feel alive.” stated Veejay Nakra, President – Automotive Sector, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. and Joint Managing Director, Mahindra Electric Automobile Limited.

The BE 6e’s powertrain produces 281 hp and 380 Nm torque, achieving 0-100 kmph in 6.7 seconds. Three driving modes – range, everyday, and race – are provided. The vehicles incorporate contemporary design with aggressive and techy appeal.
