The British carmaker is making its first foray into the electric SUV space with its Lotus Eletre. Impressive performance specs are boasted by the Eletre, despite its somewhat generic appearance. The Eletre can be accelerated from 0 to 62 mph in less than 3 seconds.

The Eletre offers three configurations: the base Eletre, the Eletre S, and the premium Eletre R. A 112 kWh battery pack and a dual-motor setup are equipped with all three Eletre trims. The Eletre R possesses the most powerful motor with 905 horsepower.

The Eletre R can be accelerated from 0 to 62 mph in less than 2.95 seconds. The battery of the Eletre can be charged in just 20 minutes from 10% to 80%. A maximum range of up to 373 miles is provided by the Eletre, depending on the trim.

Lotus hopes to achieve level 4 autonomous driving capabilities with the Eletre. The autonomous driving system of the Eletre will incorporate several LIDAR sensors. The autonomous driving system of the Eletre will learn the way you drive.

The Eletre offers a more luxurious interior than the Tesla Model X. The Eletre is equipped with a sporty steering wheel and a large central infotainment display.
