Your home’s value could drop significantly over the next 30 years due to climate change. A new study shows U.S. house prices could fall by $1.5 trillion as severe weather becomes more common. Insurance costs are already jumping up much faster than mortgage payments. Take Miami, where home insurance costs have risen by 322%. Insurance as a percentage of mortgage payments has doubled from 7-8% to more than 20%.
