China’s 2025 Plan: Eliminating Severe Air Pollution Amid Coal Dependency
China wants to get rid of its worst air pollution by the end of 2025. This plan comes from Li Tianwei, who leads the country’s Department of Atmospheric Environment. The Air is Getting Better China has already made some good progress. In 2024, the tiny harmful particles in the air (called PM2.5) dropped by 2.7%.
