Baxter’s Food Group has issued a recall for their Sliced Gherkins Crunchy & Sweet product after discovering it contains mustard not listed on the label. This poses health risks for people with mustard allergies. The affected 540g jars have batch codes 2400059, 2400060, 2400061, 2400062, and 2400063, with best-before dates of June and July 2026. “This product contains mustard making it a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to mustard,” states the Food Standards Agency (FSA) in their February 28, 2025 alert.
