The flights for Taylor Swift’s ‘The Eras Tour’ caused a significant stir throughout 2023, with iconic concerts in the United States and globally, crossing the planet and oceans to perform on each continent.
By this time, she has completed 53 concerts in the United States, 13 in Latin America, 17 in Asia and Oceania, and she is set to continue the tour in Europe, return to the United States, and conclude in Canada, totaling 149 shows.
The controversy stems from Taylor being an activist against Climate Change, but touring does not align with this as it involves taking more flights than desired for someone with her profile.
Just last year, she covered 287,000 kilometers, equivalent to 1,275 tons of pollutant gases measured in carbon dioxide.
According to those close to the artist, the main reason for so many trips and so much personnel is not just related to the work team, but also security and transporting her pets.
