In a strategic move to bolster its presence in the European electric vehicle (EV) charging market, Blink Charging Co. (Nasdaq: BLNK), a global frontrunner in EV charging solutions, has announced the integration of its wholly-owned subsidiary, Blue Corner, under the Blink Charging brand. This development comes on the heels of Blink Charging’s acquisition of Blue Corner in 2021.

Originating in 2011, Blue Corner began its journey as a pioneering Belgian start-up in the nascent EV sector. Over the years, it has evolved into Belgium’s premier platform for EV charging devices. The acquisition by Blink Charging in 2021 was a part of the latter’s strategic international expansion endeavors, aiming to establish a robust infrastructure footprint in Europe. This integration leverages the multi-lingual prowess of the Blue Corner team, especially given Belgium’s tri-lingual nature, encompassing Dutch, French, and German, with English serving as a key business language.
