Turtles Saved From Ghost Nets!

Reethi Beach in Maldives with crystal blue water is home to diverse marine life. Imma Abu and Zain Ziyaad who are ocean lovers from Reethi beach spotted a bale of turtles stuck together in discarded fishing nets A.K.A ghost nets.

They bring the turtles to the shore, cut the nets, and rescue them. The turtles are later released into the sea by ocean lovers.


The ghost nets are one of the major marine life killers. They are responsible for a chunk of marine life deaths.

Imma Abu and Zain Ziyaad are team members of Ocean Fanatics based in Reethi beach. They indulge in ocean adventures and other marine activities.
