Canadian photographer Mervyn Sequeira captured a rare 20-minute battle between a bald eagle and a Canada goose on frozen Burlington waters, where the goose surprisingly fended off multiple attacks.

The goose's victory came days after Canada's hockey triumph over the US in Boston, with Trudeau proclaiming "You can't take our country – and you can't take our game.

Sequeira, a 74-year-old retired pilot who's photographed wildlife since immigrating from India 30 years ago, noted the goose showed signs of illness with unsteady movements.
