Any good work requires continuous attention. Perseverance is the price paid for attaining glory.

The celebrities have not achieved their status simply. There is hard work behind them.

The sportspersons who shine in Olympics and other international events spend a lot of time to keep themselves physically fit. They also devote time in practicing their chosen field of sports every day. Similarly the musicians – whether vocal or instrumental specialists devote their time for daily Riyaz or practice under the guidance of a guru or teacher. There is a coach for any speciality of activity at present.

There is a continuous effort and struggle behind personal or national glory. It took several years to create the Taj Mahal or  the Statue of Liberty. Thomas Alva Edison, the famous scientist has rightly said that a genius is one percent inspiration and ninety nine percent perspiration. That means continuous hard work in your favorite line of work is required.

We see great scientists, poets, artists, writers and innovators work hard continuously. Pandit Bhimsen Joshi, famous for his classical music, used to devote a major part of his daily routine for Riyaz or singing practice. Practice makes a man perfect. Leonardo da Vinci, the creator of Mona Lisa painting,  used to exhume bodies to study anatomy.
