Lunds & Byerlys has voluntarily recalled 500 containers of its Lone Star Dip due to potential mold growth.

The affected product is the 12 oz. L&B Lone Star Dip, with UPC 18169-74197 and best-by dates of 10-15-24 and 10-17-24.
Lunds & Byerlys store will accept the return of the product and refund fully where no receipt is needed.
The potential mold contamination was discovered by alert store employees, who reported it to the company’s Assurance team.
No illness has been reported so far of the date of the Recall Announcement.
Some mold in food could produce mycotoxins, which to certain people might act as an allergen or a respiratory irritant.
According to the Food Safety Modernization Act of 2011, food safety regulations were tightened and more and more inspections of facilities were conducted.
Therefore, consumers are strictly advised to be aware, see the details on the product, and bring it back or send it straight to the landfill.
