According to the United Nations Environment Programme's emissions report 2024 which was released on Thursday stated that global emissions have recorded 57.1 gigatons.
An increase of 1.3 % from the previous year's report which is quite worrying.
One of the largest contributors to global emissions was the power generator in 2023. Industry and Agriculture followed after that.
There is a huge daunting task which requires to slow down the pollution but proven technologies can show a ray of hope.
This report also states that countries should use more and more NDCs.
In the future, as the world moves forward to a better environment, global understanding and cooperation is the need of the hour.
More and more developed countries should come forward in reducing the use of greenhouse gasses in the near future.
The world should unite, despite differences, to help the next generation.
