EVgo is an electric vehicle charging network company, spread all over the USA and makes charging points compatible with major auto manufacturers.
Tesla, like EVgo, has charging points spread all over the country, however, recently, the state of Oklahoma decided to replace Tesla charging infrastructure with EVgo in their interstate highway charging project.

Few months back Oklahoma state officials approved huge funds for Tesla to build DC fast charging points and superchargers in the interstates regions.
Tesla however failed to meet standards for NEVI EV charger installation that had to be equipped with CCS compatibility., and thus was replaced.
Upon replacing Tesla with EVgo, a number of financial advantages were seen, especially huge amounts of project cost discretion and an increased federal funding.
EVgo is a fast progressing company, for they opened 1000 public fast charging stalls by August of last year and has already surpassed 2000 in this year, they have collaborated with General Motors (GM).
The financial performance of EVgo has significantly improved since the previous year. A huge amount of net loss still persists though.
This replacement of Tesla with EVgo clearly shows that program necessities and cost considerations play an important role in infrastructure decisions.
