A massive $1 billion skyscraper, the Tiger Sky Tower, is currently under construction in Dubai, setting new architectural and luxury living records. Standing at an impressive 532 meters, it is set to break four world records featuring the world’s highest infinity pool at 431 meters, and the world’s highest restaurant at 439 meters. The planned Tiger Sky Tower may just make it into the top 10 of the world’s tallest skyscrapers. It will also offer residents a respite from Dubai’s harsh conditions with a lush tropical forest area inside. The highest roller coaster adventure that’s suitable for all ages in the rainforest at 447 meters and one of the highest penthouse in the world at 426 metres.
Named after its developer, Tiger Properties, this tower is not to be confused with the similar named skyscraper in Singapore. The Tiger Sky Tower will feature a glass exterior animated by what looks like metallic louvers in the renderings. It will be topped by a rooftop park. To put its height in perspective, it will be taller than any current building in the United States, except for the One World Trade Center, which is barely taller. It may also become the world’s tallest residential skyscraper, but we’ll have to see how that plays out, given that the recently announced Senna Tower is also attempting to break that record. Either way, this building will be huge and certainly taller than the current world’s tallest residential skyscraper, New York’s Central Park Tower.

The Tiger Sky Tower is expected to be completed by the end of 2029. The interior of the mixed-use residential tower will comprise 122 floors and feature top-of-the-line amenities. In addition to the world’s highest restaurant and infinity pool, it will also be able to boast the very specific record of the world’s highest royal penthouse (which will likely belong to a Dubai prince) and the highest tropical forest in a residential building.
The tropical forest will be located 447 m above ground level and offer a lush escape, with walkways and small cabins, as well as attractions like a zipline. Elsewhere in the skyscraper, there will be 849 residences starting at $680,000. There will also be 18 ultra-luxurious penthouse suites offering unparalleled views of the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa.
The building will have 2,784,122 sq ft of built-up area divided into 122 floors. The residential complex also has exclusive gyms for the building’s residents, a spa where they can relax and unwind, a barbecue area for gatherings with family or friends, and tennis, basketball and jogging courts, allowing owners to exercise in their own home.
The interior of the residential complex is distinguished by a contemporary aesthetic in which opulent materials prevail in the custom-made furnishings found in the homes. The height of this building not only allows it to make an impact on the city, but also offers its guests the opportunity to enjoy and relax in a luxurious place with unique panoramic views of the city.
