A report submitted by IQAir service shows that Delhi has topped the list of cities with worst air quality worldwide with an average AQI of 556 as listed. The air quality is lowering even after implication of the new World Health Organization’s Global Air Quality Guidelines (AQGs).

An Air Quality Index between zero and 50 is considered ‘good’, 51 and 100 ‘satisfactory’, 101 and 200 ‘moderate’, 201 and 300 ‘poor’, 301 and 400 ‘very poor’, then 401 and between 500 is considered ‘severe’. And looking at the data, Delhi has crossed the ‘severe’ air quality levels
